Not only is it the largest it's also one of the tastiest 😁👍. The tree can produce about 100 to 200 fruits per year, I'd be happy with just one tree in my garden 😂. Jack is in the family of multiple fruits which means the body of the fruit is formed by clusters of flowers, the 'meat' are actually petals which would form into a flower 🌸.

Origin: South East Asia and Western Ghats of India. A tree can produce as many as two hundred and fifty fruits and are supposed to be the largest tree-borne fruits in the world, weighing anything from 3-30kg. According to connoisseurs, the best jak in the world is the peniwaraka (honey jak), that comes from Sri Lanka. This one came from Malaysia and was still pretty awesome!!

Malaysian jack fruit from the market

Check out this 10kg jack fruit I got from the market this morning, it's ripe and ready to eat, i'll be feasting on it today that's for sure. Wasn't cheap but it smelt good and I couldn't resist :-).

This jackfruit song by The Lost Boys is pretty cool too, reminds me of being in Hawaii near the beach listening to them play. Love you Jack!!!
